Oops, I’ve slacked off a whole week already… time for another Friday Frog!
This week’s frog, Barbourula kalimantanensis, is a real doozy. While many frogs absorb a percentage of their oxygen needs through their skins, this odd frog absorbs it all that way – 100%. Yes, this amazing amphibian completely lacks lungs! Wild, eh?
