Friday Frog

How is a frog like a wolverine? Not quite the right question; it should read like Wolverine.

Wolverine / Frog

Well, as Not Exactly Rocket Science explains, there is a group of frogs called Arthroleptidae which have primitive retractable claws, made of bone rather than keratin and lacking an active return mechanism… and which the poor frog can only deploy by having them tear out though its own flesh, much as the superhero Wolverine must do with his (retrofitted adamantium) claws in the comic books.

I doubt the frogs heal quite as fast as Logan, though!
