Friday Frog

Well, as promised, here is the other smallest frog in the world, Psyllophryne Didactyla or Brazilian Gold frog.

Another contender might be Eleutherodactylus limbatus or Habana Robber frog, which is also pretty darn titchy. It also hails from Cuba, like Eleutherodactylus iberia of last week.

When you have to measure frogs this little, only about a centimeter long, and they’re rare as well so you have to be extra cautious – well, it’s understandable that there might be a bit of dithering about which one actually averages out the smallest.

They’re all cute though.
